ADHD Information & Resources

ADHD Resource Websites:

WRIGHTSLAW.com - Information about educational advocacy for ADHD and ADHD accommodations for children in the public school system.

ADHD Books:

You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Crazy, or Stupid? - by Kate Kelly & Peggy Ramundo
ADHD After Dark - The book outlines key principles for a great sex life for couples with ADHD and offers strategies and treatment interventions where specific issues arise.
Taking Charge of Adult ADHD: Proven Strategies to Succeed at Home, At Work, and In Relationships - step-by-step strategies for overcoming common ADHD challenges in specific areas, such as relationships, parenting, work, money management, and driving.

ADHD Podcasts:

ADHD for Bad Ass Women - Tracy Otsuko - Upbeat, positive podcast for Adult Women with ADHD

ADHD Apps:

Headspace - The Headspace app offers guided meditations and structured courses that introduce mindfulness in a clear, approachable way. For people with ADHD, the step-by-step format can make it easier to build consistency and develop skills like focus, emotional regulation, and stress management. Short, guided sessions can fit into daily routines and offer a supportive way to slow things down without feeling overwhelming.

Buddhify - The Buddhify app offers guided meditations designed to fit into real-life moments like walking, working, or winding down. For people with ADHD, this flexibility can make mindfulness feel more accessible and less like something you have to sit still for. It can support focus, emotional regulation, and creating small, manageable pauses throughout the day.

Calm - The Calm app offers guided meditations, sleep stories, and simple tools to support relaxation and emotional regulation. For people with ADHD, it can be helpful for slowing down a busy mind, building moments of pause, and creating more consistent routines around rest and sleep.  Short, guided practices can support focus, reduce overwhelm, and make it a little easier to reset during the day.

Sectograph - The Sectograph app displays your daily schedule as a visual clock, so you can see how your time is laid out throughout the day. For people with ADHD, this kind of visual structure can make time feel more concrete and easier to manage. It can support organization, time awareness, and smoother transitions between tasks.

Skylight Calendar - The Skylight Calendar is a tool I sometimes recommend for people with ADHD who find it hard to keep track of schedules. It’s a simple, visual calendar that lives in your space, so you can see what’s coming up without having to remember to check an app. For many people with ADHD, having something visible and consistent can make a big difference in organization, time awareness, and follow-through.
