Q: I'm interested in beginning counseling. How do I get started?
A: All scheduling is done electronically. Click the button on the main page titled 'Schedule My First Appointment'. Read the disclosures and scope of care information carefully. If appropriate, proceed and select a preferred meeting style (phone or video) and a convenient date and time, complete the client contact information questions, and reserve your appointment with a credit card or health savings account card.
Q: I am a current client, how do I schedule my next appointment?
A: Access the secure Client Portal by clicking Log In. If you are using the portal for the first time, follow the steps to register with the portal. (You will only need to do this once.) Follow the prompts to log into your account and schedule your next visit.
Q: Do you offer in-person appointments?
A: No. Soul Tree offers virtual sessions via video or phone conference only.
Q: How much are counseling and life coaching sessions?
A: $125/visit for all session types. (Note: Long term clients will be grandfathered in at their existing rates.)
Q: How long are sessions?
A: Both counseling and life coaching sessions are 50 minutes.
Q: Does Soul Tree accept insurance?
A: Yes. We are an in-network provider for Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, and Oxford Health.
Q: How do I cancel or reschedule my counseling or life coaching appointment?
A: Navigate to the page titled Log In. Log in to your account and reschedule or cancel as needed. Counseling and life coaching sessions cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time will not incur a cancellation fee.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Appointments not cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled meeting time will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Q: How far in advance can counseling and life coaching sessions be scheduled?
A: Counseling and life coaching sessions may be scheduled 30 days in advance.
Q: I need to schedule a counseling session with people who are in different locations. How does that work?
A: Counseling sessions can be conveniently facilitated for participants in multiple locations via the Zoom platform. All participants will receive a zoom invitation via the email address used at time of login and can join the meeting from their respective locations.
Q: I scheduled a couple or family session. Does everyone need to complete intake paperwork?
A: Yes. All counseling participants must complete an online intake packet prior to our work together. Paperwork will be sent to each participant via their personal email. When scheduling a couple or family appointment you will be prompted to add the name and contact information of all participants. Each participant must be added in order for them to receive intake paperwork. If for any reason a member of your party has not received a link to their intake paperwork, please navigate to the page labeled 'Contact' and send us a quick email including the date and time of your upcoming appointment, and the name and contact information of the person who has not received intake paperwork.
Q: The therapist has an usual name. How do you pronounce it?
A: Eiyah is pronounced eye-yah. As in, "Hi Ya Eiyah!". :)
