Clinical Counseling Staff
Eiyah Shepherd is a psychotherapist with over a decade of counseling experience assisting individuals, families, and romantic partners with a wide range of mental health concerns. Mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and adult ADHD (formerly known as ADD) often require a customized approach to relationship and couple therapy work. At Soul Tree, we know that romantic and familial relationships often bring issues to the surface of awareness in extremely painful and poignant ways. When approached compassionately, conflict in our most intimate relationships can be a powerful teacher and a catalyst for healing and growth.
"As certified trauma counseling professional, I draw from a variety of teachers and approaches that have resonated with me over the years. By incorporating techniques such EMDR, Internal Family Systems exercises, and body oriented mindfulness, my clients and I work collaboratively to clear past traumas, and create forward momentum for vibrant, wholehearted engagement with life. I consider it an honor to share the journeys of the people I am privileged to assist. If you have specific questions, please feel free to reach out via the the contact link. I look forward to connecting with you!"
