Emotional memory is just like muscle memory. As odd as it may seem, you can actually practice "doing" peace. Can you find a way to feel at peace right now, even just for a few seconds? If so, what were you thinking about (or not thinking about) when you dropped into peace? When you focus on the experience of peace, what and where do you feel it in your body? If peace had a color, a temperature, a texture, a physical sensation, what would they be? How long can you hold onto the feeling before something causes you to loose your balance?
